Jay Lombard, MD

Jay Lombard is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Genomind, and is in private practice as the Clinical Director of Neuroscience at LifeSpan Medicine. Previously, Dr. Lombard was Chief of Neurology at both Westchester Square Medical Center and Bronx Lebanon Hospital, and was a clinical assistant professor at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Lombard has been published extensively in medical textbooks, peer-reviewed papers, and medical journals. He has authored several popular nonfiction works related to the effects of nutrition on the brain including The Brain Wellness Plan. His newest book, The Mind of God, explores the relationship between neuroscience and faith.

Dr. Lombard was also an adviser to the film industry as a medical consultant for Academy Award-winning directors Jonathan Demme and Martin Scorsese on Hollywood feature films. He is a sought after speaker internationally and has appeared as a guest on numerous TV and radio programs, including Larry King Live, TedMed, CBS News, the Food Network, and with Dr. Mehmet Oz.
