Dr. Paul DeBell, author of Decoding the Spiritual Messages of Everyday Life: How Life Shows Us What We Need to Know, is a psychiatrist based in New York City who received his BA in religion from Oberlin College and his medical degree from Cornell Medical College. He has taught family therapy, hypnotherapy, individual psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy to psychiatric residents, psychologists and social workers. Dr. DeBell has lectured and conducted workshops on the relevance of our soul’s contribution to everyday life in hospitals and universities, as well as at the United Nations, the American Psychiatric Association, The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and the New York Bar Association.
